We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
Parents Advisory Board
The College’s Parent Advisory Board meets once a term and aims to enhance the partnership between families and the College. The Board’s role is to operate as a forum for future strategic planning and to provide the means for parents to have direct input into the direction and focus of the College. The Parent Advisory Board consists of members of the College Leadership Team and parents who are invited to attend.
Parent Participation
Parents are welcome to attend College events such as Weekly Masses in the College Chapel, the Mother’s Day Mass, Father’s Day Breakfast, Sports carnivals, Debating, Public Speaking, Parent/Teacher events, Awards and Exhibition Nights, Graduation, and other College events. The College hosts a number of Information Evenings for parents on topics, many of which are suggested by the Parent Advisory Board.
